Basically, performing extractions to sample particle contamination is a manual process that is supported by user-friendly extraction systems, but cannot be carried out simply by pressing a button on the extraction system. The requirements for cleanliness-compliant handling described in VDA 19.1 require not only knowledge of how to operate the system but also a sound basic knowledge of technical cleanliness.
CleanControlling offers a special training program for users on site or online for this purpose. In addition to the initial commissioning, the basics of technical cleanliness are trained and the operation and use of the system is demonstrated using practical examples, if necessary on the user's own components. The amount of time required depends on the user's previous knowledge.
When creating test specifications for complex components, it is helpful to draw on the wealth of experience of our cleanliness specialists. With our project support, we offer you our cooperation in test planning and the development of special suction nozzles, the performance of qualification tests and the preparation of test specifications.
Reliable cleanliness tests generally require clean extraction systems with which the permissible blank value is not exceeded, even with good cleanability. In addition to professional installation, commissioning and user qualification, regular cleaning and inspection of the system is therefore essential for reproducible cleanliness tests. Over the operating life of the system, signs of wear can occur despite the system components being designed to be as clean as possible. Regular cleaning may no longer reliably eliminate these signs of wear after a long period of operation, which is why the regular replacement of cleanliness-relevant system components is an essential preventive measure for ensuring reliable test results.
To ensure operational and process reliability, annual maintenance and inspection is recommended for the reasons mentioned. As part of this annual maintenance, wear parts relevant to function and cleanliness (hoses, plugs, suction nozzles, etc.) are replaced. In addition to the functional check, the system is also thoroughly cleaned as part of the maintenance.
