Due to increasing demands on the reliability of components and systems, e.g. in vehicle construction, the feature of surface cleanliness is increasingly introduced in specifications and drawings. The aspects of the design of assembly facilities and the logistics processes, the influence of the personnel and the environment should be considered to comply with the cleanliness requirements.
